Spring Break Essentials (Ashley)

With snow still in the Seattle forecast, it is difficult to imagine warm weather and less clothing.  But, Spring Break is right around the corner and it is time to get in tip top style shape for the week of escape, relaxation, and fun.  Look for sexy fun pieces that highlight your figure (thanks to the hours of sweat and nearly tears) and your soon to be tanned skin.  Here is what my leopard luggage is toting this break!

Fringe Bikinis

I love this new trend and see it as a way to spice up those plain bikinis.  Find one at Target, L Space, and Luli Fama.

Strappy Bikinis

Victoria Secret $58 for the top, $38 for the bottom

Sexy White Dress

I bought this dress today on NastyGal for only $48.  I love the elegant back and sexy mesh detailing.  Plus, white is the best color on bronzed skin!  This website also rocks!  So many great options for very inexpensive.  Definitely has become a bookmark on my computer.

Lengthy Dresses
Truth: Longer lengths are sexy too.
I recently purchased a longer dress from Free People, similar to this one, in hopes of diversifying my wardrobe.  The trick to a longer dress is to have the cut hit you in between your knee and your ankle.  This will elongate your frame while also allowing room for some amazing shoes.  In addition, look for a style that is lower cut or detailed to draw attention to your decolletage since the legs are covered.
Free People $128

Chunky Turquoise Necklace
Dinz $175

Although most of us can't afford a nearly $200 necklace, turquoise is everywhere and is the perfect compliment to any outfit.

Off-Should tops
Victoria Secret $50
Jean shorts and an off the should top is a perfect sexy, but casual outfit.

Perfect Beach Wrap

Victoria Secret $40
The perfect wrap for when you need a quick cover up.  Just wrap and go.

My Kind of Things...(Ashley)

The fashion and beauty world is heating up!  New styles and trends are coming from every which way and proving that it is all about having fun in these next few months!  I have found myself smitten with the recent arrivals in lingerie, makeup, shoes, accessories, clothing, and pictorials.  Can you say, j'adore?

Lingerie

Who wouldn't feel sexy in this corset and suspender set?  When it comes to lingerie, I like the classics.  Black, red, white.
Although this is a whopping $600 set from Agent Provocateur, similar finds are everywhere.

Makeup
Stila Convertible Color in Coral, Sephora, $18
My friend Alyssa, who works at Sephora, pointed this out to me the other day.  I was looking for a soft color that could immediately brighten me up.  This works perfectly.  It builds as you apply and also offers a bit of shine to really give you a soft spring glow.

Shoes
Victoria Secret Online, $89
Metallics, metallics, metallics!  I am a huge believer in metallic shoes.  They add oomph! to any outfit, while still acting as a near neutral.  With all of the white and bright colors that are heading in our direction, it is important to stray away from the black and dark muted colors. Emphasize the vibrance of the outfit!

Accessories
Michael Kors, "Small Madison" $225
Rose Gold is the color of the moment, especially in watches and fine jewelry.  I am a fan because I think it is a softer look.  White and black watches can sometimes be harsh, to opt for something light and feminine look to rose gold as your solution.

Clothing
ASOS, $40ish
This dress spotlights two trends of the moment: prints and sexy silhouettes. Dare to wear prints and wear them proud.  Also, search for shapes that are flattering and follow the contours of the body (view the fit near the collarbone and around the waist).  There is no room for bulk this spring.

Pictorial
Bazaar, Feb 2012.
Sky high slits, blonde hair, and red lips.  She looks amazing and exudes sex appeal.
